It is consecrated by five Metropolitans on 23rd of June, 2007. Thirty-four donors from the municipality contributed to its construction. The so-called “White Church” rises in the middle of a courtyard with tall trees, scenic alleys and benches. The temple is painted in Neo-Byzantine style. In the altar space, in a special niche of the holy throne, the relics of St. Polycarp Smirnenski have been built in, brought from Greece by His Eminence Gavriyl Metropolitan of Lovech. The church feast is on August 15th.
